Gov't Mule de nuevo en España

Gov't Mule, mas conocidos como la Mula, la banda de Warren Haynes, comienzan una gira Europea el próximo mes de noviembre, doce ciudades entre las que se encuentran Barcelona y Madrid, los días 15 y 16 en las salas Apolo y Heineken respectivamente, anunciando la reciente aparición de su nuevo trabajo "By A Thread". Fundada por el propio Warren, el bajista Allen Woody y el batería Matt Abts en 1994 como trío, Gov't Mule son una de las jambands mas poderosas de esta escena, tras la muerte del bajista Allen Woody en el 2000, este fue reemplazado por Andy Hess, que se mantuvo en la formación hasta el 2003, cuando la banda paso a la formación de cuarteto con la introducción de un nuevo bajista, el sueco Jorgen Carlsson y el teclista Danny Louis. Gov't Mule practican un rock potente con grandes dosis de improvisación recreada tanto en temas propios como en un buen numero de versiones. Hasta ahora son 9 discos de estudio y varios directos, a sus espaldas acumulan 1300 conciertos y una solida base de fans. Warren Haynes es un guitarrista excepcional, muy querido en la comunidad musical tanto por su habilidad con el instrumento como por su carácter humano, siempre dispuesto a colaborar en cualquier nuevo proyecto o causa benéfica. Como ya sabréis, Warren compagina su trabajo con la mula, con su puesto de guitarra solista en los Allman Brothers, y también ha colaborado en varios tours con The Dead.
