Bob Weir y miembros de The National en TRI Studios

Aquí tenéis tres ejemplos de la magia y el puro disfrute de la madrugada del pasado sábado (hora española), en The Bridge Session convocadas por Head Count, y que reunieron a miembros del grupo The National con Bob Weir, en los TRI studios. El disfrute fue compartido por todos, pues en las caras de los chavales se podía apreciar a primera vista que estaban en su salsa, y no digamos el maestro; el propio Bob Weir se sentía realmente a gusto con esta formación y con el set list que habían elegido, que le llevaron a interpretar, "My brother Esau", que muy pocas veces ha tocado en directo y el tema de Bob Dylan "Most of the Time" que tampoco nunca antes ha interpretado. El resto del set list incluyo una versión del tema "Love Thine Enemy" de Cass McCombs' , dos temas de The National, "Daughters Of The Soho Riots " y "Fake Empire" , y una muy oportuna selección de clasicos de los Dead, tanto en versión acústica como eléctrica, acabando todos en el centro de la sala en penumbra para interpretar a capella con instrumentos acústicos Ripple, Uncle Jonh's Band y Broke-Down Palace.
La formación con Bobby a la cabeza, consistió en Bryan y Scott Devendorf y Aaron Dessner de The National, mas los colegas de la escena de Brooklyn, Thomas Bartlett (a.k.a. Doveman), Sam Cohen (Yellowbirds), Josh Kaufman (Yellowbirds), Conrad Doucette (Takka Takka), Kyle Resnick (colaborador de The National) y Walter Martin (the Walkmen).
